Setting Up Your El Pollo Loco Fundraising Event

Requesting your El Pollo Loco fundraising event takes just one minute. Here’s how:

  1. Choose your El Pollo Loco location
  2. Select a date and time that works well for your group
  3. Fill out some basic info about your group
  4. Click submit!

You will need to book at least 14 days in advance. After that, the restaurant will have 7 days to respond to your request. By planning ahead, you’ll have plenty of time to spread the word.

** Please note: El Pollo Loco requires a W9 form to approve your event. You can attach it to your profile or send it to the restaurant contact. You do not need to be a non-profit organization to fill out a W9 form. More information on a W9 Form here.

Once the restaurant confirms your event, it’s time to start promoting! Log into your social media accounts and notify your friends, family, and supporters about your El Pollo Loco fundraising event. Share your event’s GroupRaise Meal Page, so supporters can RSVP and get an email reminder on the day of the fundraiser. The more people that attend, the more you’ll raise for your organization! Check out our post about how to promote/host a successful restaurant fundraiser for more tips and advice.

Next, your attendees just need to show up during your event’s time slot and tell the restaurant staff they’re dining to support your cause. No setup, no teardown, no hassle-just tell everyone to show up hungry. Everyone will be dying to get some tasty Mexican food! Finally, 4-6 weeks after the event, El Pollo Loco will send a check to your group containing a whopping 20% of your event’s total sales.

That’s it! …Until your next event, that is. Once you’ve seen for yourself how easy and fun El Pollo Loco fundraising is, you’ll be itching to host another event. Good news: you can hold as many as you want!

Why host an El Pollo Loco fundraising event?

El Pollo Loco is a great place for a fundraiser because of their mouth-watering Mexican food. Tacos, burritos – they’ve got all the delicious tastes and flavors you’ve come to love! Everyone will find something they enjoy on the menu. El Pollo Loco happily includes menu items for our vegetarian friends. There are gluten-free options too! For more info about the selection, check out the El Pollo Loco website.

In addition to their incredible food, consider this: with an average menu price of $6, El Pollo Loco is a great fundraising option for families or college students on a budget.

Gather Your Community

An El Pollo Loco fundraiser is the perfect way for your organization to raise money for what you care about, all while sharing delicious Mexican food with friends, family, and supporters.
