Guide to Panera Fundraising & Why It’s Great for Your Group

You have loved their bread bowls, gourmet sandwiches, and mouth-watering pastries for years, but did you know Panera Bread is giving back to its pastry-loving-patrons by hosting restaurant fundraisers? This post will serve as your ultimate guide to Panera fundraising and explain why it’s an awesome fundraising option!

Panera Fundraising: How It Works

Through their partnership with GroupRaise, Panera fundraising is now completely hassle-free. Placing an event request takes less than one minute and works like this:

  1. Select a location near you
  2. Choose a date and time
  3. Fill in your group information and estimate how many people will RSVP
  4. Press submit!

Fundraising requests must be made at least two weeks before the desired fundraising date. This is in order for the restaurant to have enough time to prepare for the event. It also helps you have enough time to spread the word to as many supporters as possible.

Once you’ve chosen a desired location, date, and time that works for your organization, it’s time to spread the word. Tell any and all group members, friends, family, coworkers, and potential supporters that would be interested in indulging in a bread bowl (or two!) for a good cause. Check out our post about how to promote/host a successful restaurant fundraiser for more tips and advice to boost attendance.

On the day of your event, supporters go to your chosen location during the given time frame and enjoy a delicious meal. To be counted toward your cause, supporters just need to mention that they are dining in support of your organization. It’s that simple!

After the fundraiser, Panera will donate 20% of the total sales from your event back to your chosen cause within four to six weeks. With average meal prices at $13, this can be an easy way to earn great money for your cause!

Why’s Panera Bread the best way to raise?

Fundraising for your organization with Panera Bread is an ideal option for all kinds of groups. With a wide variety of flavors to appeal to all tastes, an extensive vegan/vegetarian menu, gluten-free options, a warm atmosphere, and speedy preparation times, a fundraiser at Panera could satisfy everyone from busy college students to hungry little league teams.

Your group will love the high-quality ingredients and variety at Panera Bread. If there’s anything that can draw a crowd, it’s wonderful chicken salad sandwiches and broccoli cheddar soup. See the Panera Bread website for more information about their menu.

Have an office event, team building activity, or a basketball game coming up? They’ve got you covered – catering, takeout, and delivery orders may also be eligible for donations! Check with your restaurant location beforehand about their donation policies.

Bring On the Bread!

Two things your supporters love: sandwiches and your organization. Panera Bread is working hard to help you get funding for your group and bread for your belly. With Panera Bread fundraising, your group will earn and enjoy a real treat!
