Lemonade Fundraising: Step-by-Step Guide to a Restaurant Fundraiser

Standing for hours in the hot sun, hoping at least one car will stop and buy a cup – that’s the traditional lemonade stand. But what if you could raise money just by eating delicious food?

That’s what the California-based restaurant Lemonade has made possible – they are donating back to fundraising groups. When your group or organization hosts a Lemonade fundraising event, 50% of your supporter’s orders will be donated back to your cause!

Read on to learn everything you need to know about hosting a fundraising event with the restaurant Lemonade.

How Lemonade Fundraising Works

Setting up a Lemonade fundraising event is pretty straightforward. You can do it in one minute! Just follow the steps below:

  1. Choose a participating Lemonade location
  2. Select a date and time that’s good for your group and its supporters
  3. Provide some basic information about your organization
  4. Click Submit. Simple, right?

You will need to book at least 14 days in advance. After that, the restaurant will have 7 days to respond to your request. By planning ahead, you’ll have plenty of time to spread the word. Please note that Lemonade welcomes all groups with a W-9 form, which just shows that your group pays taxes.

Once your event is confirmed, it’s time to spread the word and gather RSVPs. Attendees can be family, friends, group members, or anyone that will come to support your event. The more people you bring, the merrier! Check out our tips and tricks to boost attendance here: How to Host a Successful Fundraiser.

When the day arrives, come excited (along with your family, friends, and neighbors) to enjoy something tasty from one of your most-craved restaurants! Then, within 4-6 weeks after the event, expect a check in the mail for 50% of the total sales from your event. Cha-ching!

What’s more, there’s no limit to the amount of fundraisers you can host with Lemonade – so go all out if you want!

Why fundraise with Lemonade?

Your group will love the high-quality ingredients and wide variety of food at Lemonade. If there’s anything that can draw a crowd, it’s fresh, tasty sandwiches and salads. Their herb grilled chicken sandwiches and avocado cherry tomato salads are just a few examples of their delicious fare. Veggie-lovers, don’t fret – you’ll find plenty of vegetarian options. There are options for gluten-free eaters too! For more info about the selection, check out the Lemonade website.

Plus, with an average order price of $15, your organization will be raking in the dough! 50% of your group’s sales will go toward your fundraiser, which adds up pretty quickly. You’ll be able to fund your group’s goals in no time!

What are you waiting for?

With 50% donated back for each event, a passion for bringing families together, and fresh, tasty options, Lemonade definitely offers a delicious way for you to fundraise.
