Oberweis Fundraiser: How to Organize an Event

Oberweis is a restaurant that offers high quality and most delicious ice cream to local communities. GroupRaise is an online platform that allows restaurants to host fundraisers in which groups of 20-200+ people order from a local restaurant in return for a percentage of their sales going to a cause that is important to them. This article will walk you through the stages of setting up an Oberweis fundraiser using GroupRaise.

How to plan an Oberweis give back night

An Oberweis fundraiser is an excellent choice for college students, non profit organizations, clubs and PTAs.

Using the GroupRaise platform, you can easily organize a restaurant fundraiser with Oberweis. To assist you with each step, you’ll find a detailed description below.

Set Up an Account:

To begin, register for a GroupRaise account.

Create Your Group:

In order for the restaurant to understand more about your cause, you’ll be asked to create a group profile.

Before hitting the Submit button, double-check that all of your information is correct.

Visit the Home Page:

After you’ve logged in, go to the GroupRaise main page.

Search near your address:

By utilizing the search bar, you can find Oberweis locations giving back close to you.

When you enter your address or city, GroupRaise will fetch you all the available restaurants in your locality. From the list you can select the nearest Oberweis restaurant to book your event.

Choose the location and move next.

Book a Date:

When you click the location, you’ll be sent to the following screen, in which you’ll be able to reserve the best date for your organization.

Normally you’ll have to book a meal at least two weeks in advance. Tip: The bolded dates mean they are open for fundraisers.

You will also be able to select the time range for your event on this page.

Once you’ve decided the date, click Next.

Estimated Attendance:

Here you’ll have to provide an approximate number of attendees. This will assist Oberweis and you in determining your meal’s expectations.

The Estimated Fundraising Return will be retrieved once you have added the estimated number of participants.

Review:

Make sure you have read the Oberweis Policies before choosing the Review option.

Share it — Everywhere!

You can begin promoting your fundraising event after Oberweis has confirmed it. Share information on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, then immediately inform your friends and family so they can invite their network too.

Enjoy the Meal & Enjoy your Donation:

Finally, on the event day, all you have to do is to enjoy a meal with your supporters, and 20% of the orders will be given back to your cause.
