Requesting an On The Border Fundraising Event

Follow the steps below to set up your own On The Border fundraising event; it only takes 1 minute!

  1. Choose a On The Border location
  2. Select a date and time that works for your group
  3. Tell us a little about your organization
  4. Submit your request!

Note: All groups with a W9 form can fundraise at On The Border. The form simply states that your group pays taxes.

The restaurant will have 7 days to respond to your request, and you will need to book at least 14 days in advance, so you have plenty of time to spread the word.

Once the restaurant confirms your event, it’s time to start promoting! Log into your social media accounts and notify your friends, family, and supporters about your On The Border fundraising event. Share your event’s GroupRaise Meal Page, so supporters can RSVP and get an email reminder on the day of the fundraiser. The more people that attend, the more you’ll raise for your organization!

Check out our tips and tricks to boost attendance here: How to Host a Successful Fundraiser.

When your group and its fans arrive day-of, there’s no set-up, no work during the event, and zero clean-up. Just be sure that each of your supporters alerts the restaurant staff that they’re on a twofold mission: 1) Dig into some tasty Tex-Mex food and 2) support your group’s cause!

Finally, the restaurant will send you a check with the total donation amount 4-6 weeks after your event.

What’s more, there’s no limit to the amount of fundraisers you can host with On The Border – so go all out if you want!
