How to Use GroupRaise

The Perfect Pick: Pita Pit Fundraising

It may seem like Pita Pit has already added enough goodness to your life–if we’re honest, every bite of a Pita Pit sandwich is a delicious little gift in itself. But Pita Pit is taking things a step further: The restaurant is giving back by partnering with groups and organizations to help boost fundraising efforts!

Pita Pit fundraising is delicious, rewarding, and easy–making this restaurant the perfect pick to help your group raise funds.

Here’s how your organization can work with Pita Pit to raise plenty of dough:

The Pita Pit Fundraiser: How it Works

Fundraising with Pita Pit is just as easy and, somehow, even more rewarding than digging into your go-to sandwich! At least 2 weeks before your intended fundraising date, you’ll want to:

  1. Choose a convenient Pita Pit location
  2. Select a date and time for your fundraiser
  3. Complete some basic info about your group
  4. Submit your request!

Once your group’s information has been submitted, the request is sent to the restaurant to be reviewed and approved. You’ll get an email when your group is good to go–and you’ll want to start shouting the news from the rooftops the moment it hits your inbox.

Encourage your group to spread the word about its fundraiser through fliers, word-of-mouth, social media, and on any other platforms your group members can think of. Remember, the more supporters you can gather for your fundraiser, the more you’ll earn!

Be sure your group and its supporters are armed with lots of napkins, their favorite stretch-pants, and this info:

  • There’s no set-up, no cleanup, and no work required the day of the event (unless you count narrowing down your menu choices!)
  • Attendees can RSVP on GroupRaise’s Meal Page, which will remind them of the deliciousness that awaits them at that blessed Pita Pit counter on the day of the event
  • Everyone who shows up to support your cause must inform the cashier that, although they’re most definitely there for the pitas, they’ll primarily be eating in the name of your organization
  • Pita Pit will donate 15% (!!) of your fundraiser’s total sales back to your group

When the lights go down on the day of your fundraiser, Pita Pit will calculate your group’s total earnings. Within 4-6 weeks, your group will receive a check with its earnings.

Bon appetit!

Why’s Pita Pit the Best Way to Raise?

Pita Pit began in 1995 with the goal of “fresh thinking”. At the time, this ideal mostly referred to the clean, healthy food the restaurant served–but since then, the term seems to have evolved along with the restaurant.

With over 200 locations in 43 states across the US, an average meal price of just $6 to $7, and consistent efforts to give back to its communities, Pita Pit’s existence has certainly remained “fresh” and growing–just like your group or organization! When you partner with Pita Pit, you can be equally confident in how delicious your food will be, and how value-driven your fundraiser’s host is!

The process of organizing and advertising is sure to be a total breeze. It’ll take hardly any effort (aside from, “Hey, Pita Pit for dinner?”) to get your group’s community in line for your fundraiser. Plus, walking away with 15% of your organization’s total sales will be even more delicious than your very first bite!

Now you know the lay of the land, it’s time to dig into the bread. Setting up your Pita Pit fundraiser takes just 5 minutes and there’s no risk involved.
