How It Works

When it comes to fundraising with Portillo’s, it’s impossible to find a downside. Hosting a Portillo’s fundraising event is fun and delicious-and above all, you’ll get to partner with a generous restaurant that’s seriously dedicated to making a positive impact. Setting up your Portillo’s fundraising event is easy. It takes just 1 minute and looks like this:

  1. Choose a Portillo’s location that’s close-by for your group and its supporters
  2. Select a convenient date and time for your group
  3. Fill out some key information about your group, including the expected number of guests
  4. Submit!

Make sure to submit your request at least 2 weeks before you want to hold the event. After you send your request, the restaurant will respond within 7 days.

Once the restaurant confirms your event, it’s time to start promoting! Log into your social media accounts and notify your friends, family, and supporters about your Portillo’s fundraising event. Spread your event’s GroupRaise Meal Page, so supporters can RSVP and get a reminder on the day of the fundraiser. The more people that attend, the more you’ll raise for your organization!

Is this your first time fundraising? No worries, holding a restaurant fundraiser is actually pretty easy. Check out our tips on how to promote and host a successful fundraiser.

Next, your attendees just need to show up during your event’s time slot and tell the restaurant staff they’re dining to support your cause. No setup, no teardown, no hassle-just tell everyone to show up hungry. Everyone will be dying to get some tasty hot dogs!

Finally, 4-6 weeks after the event, Portillo’s will send a check to your group containing a whopping 20% of your event’s total sales. That’s it! …Until your next Portillo’s fundraising event, that is.

You can hold an unlimited amount of fundraisers at Portillo’s, so feel free to go all out!
