How to raise money for your cause with an IHOP fundraiser

For over 50 years, IHOP has served as an American staple for delicious, hearty breakfast and diner fare. Now, the family-friendly joint wants to give back to its loyal customers. By hosting an IHOP fundraiser, you can enjoy a tasty meal with friends and family, and the restaurant will donate a portion of sales to your chosen cause. It only takes a minute to request a fundraising event at IHOP, and it’s completely free! Here’s everything you need to know about hosting your own IHOP fundraiser.

Why host an event at IHOP?

With 150+ locations all over the U.S., IHOP is the perfect spot to gather supporters of any cause. That’s why it’s one of the best fundraising ideasgroups have already held fundraisers there to raise money for elementary schools, high schools, college clubs, non-profits and church organizations. IHOP’s roomy booths and long tables make it a great location for large groups of any kind!

Kids love it for its fun menu options, like colorful, fruity pancakes and nutella-stuffed french toast. Logan Lechot from Lake City High School BPA said:

“We chose IHOP to hold our fundraiser because all the kids in BPA liked their food a lot. Our experience eating there was very smooth. They had a section for just people from BPA and we all got to sit down and eat together and talk among ourselves.”

IHOP also offers a wide selection of fare catered to an adult crowd, from vegetable omelets to lunch sandwiches and salads.

How to book your IHOP fundraiser

You can set up your fundraiser in a few easy steps:

  1. Search for an IHOP close to you and select a date and time.
  2. Invite your friends and supporters, who can RSVP online. We’ll send everyone a reminder the night before your fundraiser so they don’t forget to go. There’s no need to print and hand out flyers!
  3. Enjoy your delicious meal! When your supporters go to IHOP for your fundraiser, they just need to mention that they’re supporting your cause and the restaurant will set aside a percentage of the money they spend.

IHOP will send you a check with the money earned a few weeks after the event. There’s no limit to how many fundraisers you can host at IHOP, so if you enjoy your experience there you can go back again anytime.
