Chain Restaurants That Do Fundraisers

Why Red Lobster Fundraising is Perfect for your Group

Red Lobster needs no introduction – they have been a fan favorite for decades. Now you can enjoy tasty seafood and earn money for a cause at the same time. When you host a Red Lobster fundraising event, you’ll get 10-15% donated back to your group. Sounds incredible, right?

Read on to learn everything you need to know about hosting a fundraising event with Red Lobster, as well as why you would want to.

Setting Up Your Red Lobster Fundraising Event

Follow the steps below to set up your own Red Lobster fundraising event; it only takes 1 minute!

  1. Choose a location near you
  2. Select a date and time that’s convenient for your group
  3. Provide basic information about your organization
  4. Click submit!

Put in your request at least 2 weeks before your desired event date. Then, within 7 days, the restaurant will respond to your request. All types of groups can fundraise, from college clubs to charities to PTAs and more!

Once your event is approved, it’s time to promote! Spread the word to all your supporters and send them to your event’s unique Meal Page, where they can RSVP and learn more about the event. Want to make sure your event is a hit? We’ve put together all of our best practices and tips on how to promote and host a successful restaurant fundraiser here.

Day-of, every person that comes to the restaurant during your event and says they’re with your organization will have a portion of their bill added to your donation total. Takeout orders may also count towards your fundraiser – check with your restaurant location to make sure. Delicious seafood + a fun time with your supporters + funds for your group = the best fundraiser ever!

Finally, 4-6 weeks after the event, Red Lobster will send a check to your group containing a whopping 10-15% of your event’s total sales. That’s it! …Until your next Red Lobster fundraising event, that is. Once you’ve seen for yourself how easy and fun Red Lobster fundraising is, you’ll be itching to host another event.

Why fundraise at Red Lobster?

To start, the seafood at Red Lobster will wow your attendees. From lobster tail to coconut shrimp, every item on the menu is made with the freshest ingredients. Plus, everyone will find something they enjoy on the menu. That includes vegetarian-friendly choices and options for gluten-sensitive diners too. For more info about the selection, check out the Red Lobster website.

Finally, let’s not forget that Red Lobster donates 10-15% of your supporters’ orders back to your organization. At an average menu price of $20-21, that’s going to add up pretty quickly – resulting in a great haul for your cause!

Gather Your Group

When you partner with Red Lobster, you can be equally confident in how delicious your meal will be, and how value-driven your fundraiser’s host is. Getting people to RSVP is sure to be a total breeze. It’ll take hardly any effort (aside from, “Hey, Red Lobster for dinner?”) to get your group’s community in line for your fundraiser. Plus, walking away with 10-15% of your organization’s total sales will be even more delicious than your very first bite!
