Hi, my name is Damon Coates. I’m the owner of Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers in Lexington, KY. We’re a full service pizza restaurant and full bar. We’re located next to the University of Kentucky Campus and as well as the downtown area of Lexington, KY.
We’ve been using GroupRaise for four months now. We’ve had a lot of response from University Kentucky student organizations for their fundraising and philanthropy efforts.
We’ve found the website incredibly easy to use, it helps us keep our events organized, it helps us keep the payouts for the events organized. I’d tell you to go in and check it out and see just how user friendly that website is.
Since we started doing these fundraisers, we have seen a significant increase in the amount of fundraisers that we do. We had done fundraisers before then, but we definitely are doing more fundraisers now because of GroupRaise.
We enjoy doing fundraisers. It brings us some new customers into our location and as well as it allows us to support the community and the fundraising efforts of various groups at the University of Kentucky.
So overall I would definitely recommend it and it’s been a great thing for us that we’ve done here in the fall of 2015.
