The Applebee’s Fundraiser – Flapjack Style

The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser is a great way to shake things up at your next fundraiser; all it takes is a little time, salesmanship, and some delicious pancakes!

The Applebee's Fundraiser and the Flapjack Fundraiser are both deliciously fun ways to raise money for your cause.

How it Works

To get started, you’ll need to:

  1. Select a location near you through Applebee’s fundraising page
  2. Choose your fundraising dates
  3. Pay a $100 deposit
  4. Fill out information about your organization
  5. Submit your request!

Once your event is confirmed, it’s time to start selling tickets! Your organization will sell a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 400 tickets (usually for between $11-13 each) before the event, and people will present these at the door the morning of your fundraiser. If your group doesn’t sell enough tickets, they may be forced to pay the restaurant back for supplies, so it’s important that your organization is excited about rallying its community!

To help you with this, Applebee’s will provide flyers and other event marketing materials you’ll need to get your neighbors and friends excited about the event, and you’ll spend the days leading up to your fundraiser selling tickets and spreading the word!

Events are held at your local Applebee’s on Saturdays from 8 AM to 10 AM. Your group will gather volunteers before your event to greet supporters, serve food, and clean up during and after the fundraiser. After presenting their tickets, your supporters will chow down on pancakes, sausage, and scrambled eggs, enjoying time with friends and family as they contribute to your group’s cause!

If your event brought in enough supporters, it’ll be time to rake in the profits! Following your Flapjack Fundraiser, Applebee’s will hold onto $4 from each ticket sold—the rest is yours to keep.

The Applebee’s Restaurant Fundraiser

If you’re in the market for a fun, profitable, and easy way to raise, the Applebee’s Fundraiser may be just what you’re looking for. It’s deliciously simple!

The Applebee's fundraiser is the perfect way for organizations to raise money while sharing a delicious meal.

How it Works

A restaurant fundraiser at Applebee’s looks like any other night at the restaurant—except a portion of sales to your group’s supporters goes straight into your fundraising account!

Making a request is a piece of cake. You just:

  1.    Select a location near you
  2.     Choose your fundraising dates
  3.     Fill out basic information about your organization
  4.     Submit your request!

Once your fundraiser is scheduled, your group will spread the word about the delicious food supporters can devour for the sake of your awesome cause. Your group can get started spreading the word through social media, word-of-mouth, and GroupRaise’s Meal Page, which will remind your supporters and community members with an email the day of the event to help make sure they come hungry!

When it comes time for your fundraiser, all you’ll need to do is let the Applebee’s waiter know you’re there to support the fundraiser, then enjoy some of that delicious Applebee’s food and have a great time with friends and family. Applebee’s will handle the rest; there’s no need to worry about cooking, serving or cleanup!

In the 4 to 6 weeks following your fundraiser, you’ll receive the Applebee’s donation check for 10% of your event’s total sales! Just by gathering together for a delicious meal, your organization’s supporters will have boosted your group’s budget so you’ll be able to relax and focus on changing the world until your next restaurant fundraiser!

Easy as pie! (Or BBQ wings, bacon cheeseburgers, and cheesy pretzel sticks.)

Which fundraiser is best for my group?

Applebee’s offers two great ways to fundraise, but which is the best fit for your needs?

The Applebee’s restaurant fundraiser is usually the more relaxed and lower-stress of the two fundraising options. Your group and its supporters simply show up on the day of your event, eat, have fun, and earn money for your cause! Your organization will walk away having earned 10% of the evening’s total sales with no cap or risk involved.

The Flapjack Fundraiser requires more group involvement than the Applebee’s restaurant fundraiser, but the process of selling tickets and working the event can be exciting and fun. A Flapjack Fundraiser is the perfect way to raise if you’re sure your group can round up a substantial turnout, selling enough tickets to pay for supplies and turn a profit afterwards!

When deciding which fundraiser is best, consider how much time and commitment your team is able to put into fundraising. Are you looking for the higher-commitment, hands-on experience a Flapjack Fundraiser will bring? Or is something but a bit more fun and laid back better for your group right now?

Whichever option you choose, you really can’t go wrong when digging in to some delicious food with an awesome company like Applebee’s!

Sharing a meal for a good cause is what the Applebee's Fundraiser is all about.
