Chick-Fil-A Spirit Nights

During Chick-Fil-A Spirit Nights–also known as dine to donate events or profit shares–you and your friends enjoy tasty sandwiches and waffle fries and the restaurant donates a percentage of the event’s sales back to your cause!

A 15% donation back is typical, but Chick-Fil-A restaurants are independently operated, so fundraising availability and policies vary by location.

COVID-19 Update: Fundraising with Chick-Fil-A is still possible and safe! Depending on the location, you can participate in a Chick-Fil-A fundraiser through dine in, drive thru, curbside pickup, carry out, and delivery. With many ways to order, all of your supporters will feel comfortable. Plus, fundraisers are a great way to bring extra business to restaurants. If you don’t see a Chick-Fil-A location near you on GroupRaise, here’s how to request a fundraiser starting from the main Chick-Fil-A website:
  1. Go to chick-fil-a.com/Locations, search and select a nearby location.
  2. Scroll down and you’ll see the Restaurant Operator name and phone number. Depending on the location, there will also be a link to that particular location’s website.
  3. If there’s no link to a location website, call the phone number to ask about fundraisers.
  4. If there is a link to the location website, click on it. In most cases, you’ll arrive at a website with a url starting with cfarestaurant.com.
  5. At the top of the page, click on “Community.” You may also see options for “Fundraising” and “Donation Request.”
  6. Read the location-specific information and follow the instructions to request a fundraiser or donation.

As always, make sure to put in your event request well in advance, at least 2 weeks ahead of time, more if the location requires it. The sooner you book, the sooner it gets approved, and the sooner you can start promoting your fundraiser!

Once you get the confirmation, it’s time to spread the word. Invite your family, friends, supporters, social media followers, everyone! The more people attend, the more money you earn for your group or charity. Check out our post on how to host a successful fundraiser for more tips and tricks for setting up and promoting your event.

On the day of the event, just relax and enjoy one (or three!) of Chick-fil-A’s tasty signature sandwiches. Your attendees only need to mention the name of your organization to be counted towards the total.

Chick-Fil-A Donation Requests

For several years now, Chick-fil-A has committed to giving back and supporting the communities around their locations. To make a donation request–whether it’s for cash, food, or gift cards–follow the same process detailed above, starting at the main Chick-Fil-A website and continuing on to your closest location.

Third-Party Sales

Some Chick-Fil-A locations allow fundraising groups to buy sandwiches, then resell them for a profit. This strategy is particularly applicable to fundraising events, where you can set up a stand to sell the sandwiches.

Similar to donation requests, reach out to your favorite Chick-Fil-A operator to find out if they offer this type of fundraiser.

Why fundraise with Chick-Fil-A?

Chick-fil-A isn’t just any fast food joint. They care about giving back to their customers and the communities they serve and show it by donating excess food to nearby shelters, granting employee scholarships, and hosting spirit nights.

Whether you’re a college student on a budget or a PTA mom with the family in tow, Chick-fil-A is one of the best fundraising ideas.

It is also a great opportunity to introduce new members to your organization. Perhaps there is a friend of a friend who isn’t sure exactly what your group does, but could easily be enticed into an event by the promise of fries–all of the sudden, you’ve found your newest member.
