“Primarily Moe’s Southwest Grill is a franchise business. And you know, for each one of our operators and owners it’s really important for us to really be involved in the community around us like really in a pretty tight radius. Because those are the people that we want to impact on a daily basis. Not only by feeding people really fresh flavorful food, but also by partnering with organizations in the community and giving back in whatever way we can.

 

Fundraising is a huge part of the Moe’s Southwest Grill brand identity. It’s definitely something that’s in our blood. And even more importantly than that, really developing a relationship with organizations in the communities where we have each one of our restaurants is key but especially for the people that support these organizations and also our customers and our restaurants. It’s a no brainer for us to really marry the two together.

 

GroupRaise has really given a lot of our operators and a lot of our franchisees a more effective way of connecting with local nonprofits or organizations or the school system where a lot of that can be pretty time-consuming. It can be pretty cumbersome to add on to a pretty busy work day of opening a restaurant and really running everything through lunch and dinner. 

 

So having a seamless process to really bring in a lot of those organizations and nonprofit partners and especially doing it in the digital space–it’s invaluable to put that time back into our franchisees lives.
